AboutI spent the first six years of my life in southern California, where my family lived in a little cottage two blocks from the beach. Then we moved to Philadelphia where I stayed through high school. After graduating from Duke University I made my way back to the West Coast — with stops along the way — and now I consider San Francisco my home. I've worked in the editorial departments of National Geographic Magazine and Addison Wesley Book Publishing, and have written for consumer and trade magazines and newspapers. My personal Alternative Shelter experience comes from transforming a neglected 1906 Earthquake Cottage in San Francisco. It was featured in The San Francisco Chronicle and the premier issue of Cottage Living Magazine. |
